Episode 17: Alasdair Taylor Interview

Alasdair.jpg

In Episode 17 of the Nature Therapy Online podcast, I interview a very inspiring ecotherapist from Sydney, Australia—Alasdair Taylor. Alasdair tells us about his past work in Scotland and current work in Sydney. He also touches on important themes around ecology and what we can learn from indigenous cultures from across the world.

I met Alasdair several years ago when I took my first ever ecotherapy course in Edinburgh, Scotland. I went on Alasdair’s PRANA weekend retreat; it inspired me so much that when I later ran my first ever ecotherapy group, I went back to the very same venue at the Water of Leith Centre, walked in Alasdair’s footsteps, and guided my group there! His work is inspirational.

In this week’s nature therapy podcast, Alasdair shares ecotherapy tips that are relevant wherever you live, no matter the climate or location. He tells us about the PRANA model of eco-therapy that he developed many years ago, and why it is so relevant. We also touch upon themes of creativity, culture, history and health; all shared lovingly with Alasdair’s friendly, approachable and down-to-earth attitude.

Alasdair is a truly great person as well as a source of inspiration, and I’m sure you’ll agree that he is a pleasure to listen to. Tune in to hear him guide you through a simple but powerful ecotherapy grounding meditation, and to learn more about the great work he is doing both in Sydney and online.

You can connect with Alasdair on the PRANA Ecotherapy page on Facebook.

Thanks for tuning in folks, and remember to subscribe, share and review the podcast, wherever you listen to it. It really does help to spread the word about nature therapy. Also feel free to comment below or message me—I LOVE hearing from you!

Green wishes,

Stephen x
